WLTSA collaborates with CASL and all Teaching School Alliances in Cumbria to coordinate an effective CPD Programme for the academic year.

The programme will be displayed on the CASL website, sent electronically to schools and available via LASL briefing sheets.

We are offering a RQT Programme this academic year the details are on this link WLTSA – RQT Programme

The BBCL is offering the following three courses

 RQT: Leaders of tomorrow.

Information about this programme will be sent early December. However each teaching school alliance will be asked to nominate 2 RQTs (teachers in their 2nd, 3rd or 4th year of teaching). Please note this is a potential leaders programme and delegates should have displayed the potential for future leadership. There are 33 places available.

 Moving from Middle to Senior Leadership

What is School Direct?

School Direct is a direct route into teaching, where successful applicants can follow a PGCE (with QTS) course. The main difference to the traditional PGCE course is that you will do a significant amount of your training within a school.
